It was with a heavy heart that the kids of St Brendan’s GAA club said goodbye to their GPO Christian O’Hara as he headed for sunny climes in Melbourne, Australia.

After several years as a busy Games Promotion Officer at the club and having helped build up the club’s underage structures and teams, Christian decided to take up a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel Down Under.

Joe Dalton said a few words on behalf of us all and presented a gift from the Under 8s.

God speed and there will always be a welcome on the mat in Grangegorman, Longmeadows or wherever the Dark Force colors are flown!
